Are you increasingly expected to do more with less? Well that might not be your only option. This half day productivity workshop will explore time management options and methods of organizing and attacking your to do lists more effectively. We'll also discuss how you can move from constant firefighter mode to peaceful productivity mode. Multi-tasking is a myth, but we've got some facts to help you achieve more with your limited amount of time.

Our agenda includes:

Did You Actually Want To Be a Firefighter When You Grew Up? - Are your days spent putting out fires and tending to urgent emergencies (often of someone else's creation)? Discover how you can get ahead of those fires and start finally putting them out for good.

Are You Managing Time or Is It Managing You? - Everyone has the same 24 hours in their day, so why does it seem like some people accomplish so much more than others with their hours? This program will look at time management principles and help you identify the leaks in your schedule.

To Do or To Done (Ta Da!)? - Everyone says work smarter, but how the heck do you do that? Maybe you just have too much work to cram into the number of hours you are actually supposed to be working. Find out how you can establish effective to do lists (including alternatives if they just don't work for you!) and get more on your to DONE list!

Achieving Flow - Have you ever noticed how productive you are the day before you are scheduled to go on vacation? Sometimes those days happen randomly. We just get "in the zone" and hyperfocus on a task and the time flies by. We look up and realize we worked right through lunch because we were so immersed in our project. Discover how you can achieve that state of mind more regularly to get far more work done in a far shorter amount of time than usual.

With certification as an internet webmaster designer, Microsoft Office Specialist (Master Level), Advanced Toastmaster-Silver, and an Associate's Degree in Business, Marie has an expansive knowledge in many areas, and can help you become an expert as well. She is an author, mentor, and expert on a number of computer and professional development topics. Marie is the owner of MRH Enterprises and teaches classes on Microsoft Office, Windows, and various other internet topics. She has been a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) since 1997 and was the 2012-2013 President of the Illinois Division of IAAP. She has more than two decades of experience as an administrative professional and efficiency consultant.
